Hi, I'm Laura.

A pair of hands, a chunk of clay, time.

Honduran-born, Amsterdam-based. Klaay Studio began on a kitchen table — small lumps of clay turning into mushrooms, moons, and tiny dolls. What started as a quiet evening habit became a practice, and then a studio.

I work slowly. I don't use moulds. I don't batch-produce. If you hold one of my pieces, you're holding an afternoon of my life.
